The municipality of Oss Vang in Valdres has the slogan "Wild and Beautiful". Camping Bøflaten is right in the heart of this: wild and beautiful! Here at the foot of Jotunheimen we enjoy a fantastic view of the mountains and Vangsmjøsa.Camp Bøflaten was founded in 1947. Today the owners are the third generation of the Bøe family. For over 70 years, we have been a recognized and preferred accommodation on the "main road" between east and west, and with our unique geographical location, a base camp for all kinds of nature walks, short and long, and wonderful experiences in nature mountains. > In 2017 we decided to update the campsite. This is a project in which Phase 1 was completed in 2018 and in which two further phases are planned. Phase 1 included the establishment of different structures located in the upper layer of the sector. We have created one of the best health facilities in the Norway campground. We have extended and enhanced the reception, which facilitates good dialogue with customers. In 2018, three new high-level holiday homes were also built. A state-of-the-art drainage station for campers and caravans is in place. A warm outdoor living room with a bonfire area and stunning fjord views has been built by the sea, perfect for larger, less informal meetings.
