Camping Tunnel

In the heart of the mountains of the Aosta Valley, just a stone’s throw from Switzerland, sunny and surrounded by peaks over 3000 m, the campsite is ideal for a tranquil holiday in both summer and winter, surrounded by nature but a short walk from the center  of Etroubles village (1.280 m asl). The strategic position is near the large and convenient Great St. Bernard state road, which connects Italy and Switzerland and facilitates access year round and makes of the Camping Tunnel a convenient starting point for tours and excursions throughout the Region. The ancient itinerary of pilgrims, the Via Francigena, passes through this area. The centre of Aosta is 16 km away and can be reached by coach.

Our structure has been completely renovated; it is a modern structure, ready to welcome you with the typical simplicity and courtesy of a young family-managed facility.

You may camp with your tent (in summer!), with your motorhome or caravan, at extremely convenient prices. If you love the comfortyou can rent our new mobile homes, fully furnished and equipped with bathroom and TV, or the most simple and cheaper caravans. Have you ever dreamed of sleeping in bivouac? At Camping Tunnel you can try this great experience by renting a POD® (wooden cabins)!

You have the camper and you are just passing through? In this case, you may have access to the new “Motorhome Stopover Area” adjacent to the campsite, with electricity and “Camper Service” (water and waste water dump facilities).

For a pleasant evening, or simply to meet with friends, the Restaurant Bar of the campsite propose: Italian cooking and a tasty typical mountain menu also take-away.

This summer we will open the new relax corner with a pool  with a hydro-massage bench and one smaller for babies.
