DU LETTY

Camping du Letty is situated at the edge of ‘la Mer Blanche’ which empties and fills with the rhythm of the tides.Coming to ‘Letty’ feels a bit like calling at a little, peaceful harbour, bubbling with summer happiness: where time stands still. Lively and forever changing, just like a living postcard. ‘La Mer Blanche’ will truly delight nature lovers. At low tide, you are treated to an endless beach of golden sand with a range of dunes giving access to the ocean. With the rising tide, you will find the sea agreeably warm having been washed over the sun-warmed sand.To the south, the sea extends as far as the eye can see to an horizon flowering with rocky islands. These islands known as ‘Les Moutons’ and the archipelago ‘les Glenans’ are truly wonderful lagoons of sparkling turquoise water. On the easterly side of Camping du Letty, the dunes spread themselves right up to the ‘pointe de Mousterlin’; a thrilling treat for walkers of all abilities. To the east of ‘la Mer Blanche’, the lagoon with its unique vegetation cropped by the meandering rivulets of water – all this makes an ideal refuge and feeding ground for the birds. To the west, the coastal path, offering views of extreme beauty, leads you to the town centre, beach and promenade of Bénodet. Le Letty is also a paradise for lovers of both water sport and photography – with a never ending spectacle of catamarans, sailing dinghies, wind surfers, kite surfers all displaying their multi-coloured sails.
